Torpedo footballer Ruslan Chervyakov said that in Europe he was struck by a siesta
Ukrainian footballer of the Moscow Torpedo Ruslan Chervyakov, in a conversation with a Lenta.ru correspondent, named the things that surprised him in Europe.
The athlete stated that he was struck by the siesta, since during this period of time no one works, no matter how urgently a person needs to complete a task. “For example, you come from another city, stand in line for half an hour to submit documents, the clock strikes 13:00 – and that’s it. The woman who accepts the documents lies down on a folding bed and starts watching TV,” he said.
Chervyakov was a graduate of the Spanish Valencia academy. He has been playing for Torpedo since the summer of 2023. Before that, he represented the Ukrainian Dnepr, Shakhtar and Ingulets.
Earlier, Ukrainian footballer Arthur Murza, who plays for the Russian club Murom from the Second League, described his attitude towards Russia. “I was brought up on friendship between Ukrainians and Russians. Russia will always be a brotherly country for me,” he shared.
