From the champion team of the last Euro Cup, the following were called: Donnarumma (PSG), Meret (Napoli), Acerbi (Inter Milan), Bastoni (Inter Milan), Di Lorenzo (Napoli), Cristante (Roma), Jorginho (Arsenal), Chiesa (Juventus) and Barella (Inter Milan).
Despite having called up 30 athletes (see the complete list of those called up at the end of the article), coach Luciano Spalletti will necessarily have to cut four players. Italy is in group B of the European Championship with Albania, Croatia and Spain. The current Euro champion’s debut is against the Albanians on June 15, at 4pm, at Signal Iduna Park, Borussia Dortmund’s stadium.
