The German cyclist of the team EF Education-EasyPost Georg Steinhauser ha cattlethis Wednesday, the seventeenth stage of the 2024 Giro d’Italiain it Brocon Pass, 1st category; In parallel, the Slovenian runner of the team UAE Emirates Tadej Pogacarsecond in the stage, continues as leader of the general classificationin which he has achieved 24 seconds more advantage with respect to several of the other men located in the top positions in it.
Steinhauser has signed an exhibition, to achieve victory. He comes from a family of illustrious cyclists, with Tobias Steinhauserhis father, with several seasons as a professional on his service record, and with a Tour winner, Jan Ulrich, as his uncle. The German EF Education rider aims to have a great future ahead of him, as he is confirming.
After several days with the mountains as the protagonist, the Giro sprinters have a good opportunity to fight for victory this Thursday, in the eighteenth stage of the career. With departure in Primiero Fairarrival in Paduaand 178 kilometers of travel, it has a flat profile, which could enable a massive arrival.
