England announces pre-list for the Euro Cup with 33 names

The English team announced this Tuesday the pre-list of those called up by coach Gareth Southgate for the Euro Cup, which will be played between June 14th and July 14th, in Germany. Of the 33 names called, seven will have to be cut for the tournament.

The main athletes in the English squad are: Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Harry Kane (Bayern Munich), Phil Foden (Manchester City), Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) and Cole Palmer (Chelsea).

This is the first call-up for defender Jarell Quansah and midfielder Curtis Jones, both from Liverpool. In addition to them, Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton was also called up in an unprecedented way.

England will play two friendlies before defining the final list, on June 8th. The opponents will be: Bosnia and Iceland. The first of them will be on June 3rd, at 3:45 pm (Brasília time), at St. James’ Park, in Newcastle.
