Expert Orlov advised exercising on uneven bars instead of going to a fitness club

A teacher at the Department of Sports Disciplines at the State University of Education, Yuri Orlov, spoke about a way to keep fit without going to a fitness club. His words are quoted by NEWS.ru.

Orlov advised training on parallel bars and horizontal bars, noting that this develops the upper body just as well as exercise machines in the gym. The expert suggested starting with pull-ups with a regular and reverse grip, then moving on to a narrow grip and a wide grip with your head under the bar.

“Next we move on to push-ups on parallel bars. Push-ups represent a kind of “useful pause” – rest in the interval between pull-ups on the bar,” Orlov explained. The specialist added that the number of repetitions of push-ups should be a multiple of the number of pull-ups. Next, you need to return to pull-ups and do two exercises in a circle four more times, each time reducing the number of repetitions by an average of 20 percent (eight instead of ten, and so on).

After this, the expert suggested working out the abdominal muscles. To do this, while hanging on the bar with a regular grip, you need to lift your legs first straight and then your legs bent at the knees ten times. Next, you need to repeat the combination on parallel bars.

Previously, a way to remove fat in the most problematic areas without going to the gym was named. To do this, they advised to perform planks, push-ups, squats with swings and lunges with jumps.
