Agreement with Palmeiras, Felipe Anderson reaches the mark of 150 consecutive games for Lazio

Attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson, who has a pre-contract signed with the Palm treesreached the milestone of 150 consecutive games for Lazio last Sunday, in a 1-1 draw with Inter Milan. The match, which took place at the San Siro, marked the penultimate round of this season’s Italian Championship.

In the match against Inter Milan, Felipe Anderson started on the bench, but was called on in the 27th minute of the second half. Before that, he had started 23 consecutive games. With this mark, the player holds the record for the player with the most consecutive matches for Lazio.

Adding up the last few seasons for the Italian team, the Brazilian beat the mark set by defender Alfredo Monza, who played 124 games in a row at the end of the 1930s.

The 31-year-old player will reinforce Verdão from July 1st this year. In April, the São Paulo team announced the successful signing of Felipe Anderson. The athlete still has a contract with Lazio until June 30 and will leave European football after 11 years.

Felipe Anderson was Palmeiras’ fifth reinforcement for this year and will have a contract with Alviverde until December 2027. This season, the midfielder played 50 matches, scored five goals and provided seven assists. He remains available for the closing round of the Italian Championship, which will be this Sunday, at 3:45 pm (Brasília time).

Still without Felipe Anderson, Verdão has a commitment this Thursday, against Botafogo-SP, in a return duel from the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. The ball rolls at 7 pm, at the Santa Cruz Stadium, in Ribeirão Preto (SP).
