Russian midfielder Denis Glushakov announced his departure from the Armenian Urartu. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
“When the season ends, I’ll go pack my things and say goodbye to everyone. I’m leaving Urartu. We had an agreement until the end of the season. What’s next? Time will show. Why make a wish when I don’t know what will happen tomorrow,” said the footballer. 37-year-old Glushakov noted that his health allows him to continue playing and he is ready to “close any hole on the field.”
Glushakov moved to Urartu in February 2024. Details of the agreement were not disclosed. In total, he played 12 matches for the team in all tournaments, scoring one assist.
Previously, Glushakov played for Lokomotiv and Spartak Moscow, winning the championship and the Russian Super Cup with the latter. He also represented Nizhny Novgorod, Khimki near Moscow, Rostov SKA, Irkutsk Zvezda, Grozny Akhmat and Kostroma Spartak.
