In the next, a counterattack by Cartagena was about to become a tie with a shot from Alarcón that went just wide.

In the 75th minute, Qasmi scored an assist from Konrad after a previous play by the American and forced a save from Lizoain, in what could be the sentence. Until the end the gunsmiths suffered, but they achieved three points that put pressure on Valladolid, forced to score in Alcorcón to avoid losing the direct promotion place.
