Taktarov advised Ukrainian boxer Usik to stop doing nonsense
Mixed style fighter (MMA) and film actor Oleg Taktarov gave advice to Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik after his victory over Briton Tyson Fury. Taktarov’s words are quoted by Sport24.
“I wish Sasha to stop engaging in nonsense, which constitutes one or two percent throughout Ukraine and which hid in forests and dugouts after the Second World War,” Taktarov said. He considered that Usik was functionally prepared much better than Fury, and congratulated the entire Slavic people on the Ukrainian’s victory.
On the night of May 19, Usik defeated Fury in a fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion in Saudi Arabia. The fight lasted all 12 rounds. It ended with Usik winning by split decision – 115-112, 113-114, 114-113.
This is Fury’s first defeat in his professional career after 34 wins and 1 draw. Usik won his 22nd fight in the professional ring and remains undefeated.
