The 46-year-old commander recalled his history in the country and celebrated the agreement with Antalyaspor.
“In 2004 I set foot in Turkey for the first time to write a wonderful piece of my sporting life and also my personal life. And today twenty years later, with the agreement with Antalyaspor, I return once again to Turkey, to write another page. This time in another position, outside. As a football coach,” said Alex, who then greeted the fans speaking in Turkish.
In his career as a coach, Alex led São Paulo’s under-20 team, between 2021 and 2022, and Avaí, in 2023.
