It didn’t take long to find out what the future of Michał Buchalik would be. On Friday morning, she announced the signing of a contract with the 32-year-old goalkeeper via the official website. For an experienced competitor, it is a return to the Tri-City after an eight-year break. It was then that he played for Lechia in 2011-2013 and played a total of 27 games.

– I am coming back to Lechia and I am very happy about it. I am also glad that we managed to finish it all before Christmas. I’m starting a new chapter here and it’s all ahead of me. I want to help Lechia in the game for the highest places in Ekstraklasa and with my presence increase the competition in the goal – said Michał Buchalik in an interview with the portal. – When I found out that it is possible to play for Lechia, I did not think long. I am fully convinced that this is a very good decision. Now that the contract is signed, I’m going back to my family for Christmas. I am in contact with Lechia’s goalkeeper coach Paweł Primel and I have already received training recommendations for this break. Buchalik’s contract with Lechia Gdańsk will be in force until the end of June 2022, but it includes an option to extend it for further years.
