Singer Dmitrienko said that he framed figure skater Valieva with a joint photo
Popular Russian singer Vanya Dmitrienko, in an interview with the Macarena show on VKontakte, spoke about his relationship with figure skater Kamila Valieva.
The performer recalled how in 2022 a photo of him holding an athlete’s hand circulated online. He emphasized that he wanted to support Valieva at that moment, but instead he set her up. “At that moment, on the contrary, she needed to get rid of it, but it turned out that I became the culprit,” Dmitrienko added.
On February 17, it became known that Valieva would release a song with the popular Russian singer Mia Boyka. Later it was announced that the skater would become the host of the show on Channel One.
On January 29, the Court of Arbitration for Sport suspended Valieva for four years for doping. The period of disqualification starts from December 25, 2021. According to the court, the athlete could not prove that she took the prohibited drug trimetazidine, which was found in her sample, unintentionally.
