CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Vladislav Torop, who received a serious injury in the semi-final match of the Russian Cup against Zenit St. Petersburg, will undergo surgery. The club’s communications director, Kirill Breido, wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
Braido said that the 20-year-old football player is in a Moscow clinic. He must undergo examination, after which surgery will be scheduled. It is noted that at the moment we are talking about several months of recovery.
On May 15, Torop was injured in the semi-final match of the Russian Cup against Zenit, in which the army team lost to the team from St. Petersburg in a penalty shootout and were eliminated from the tournament. The football player was diagnosed with a double fracture of the facial bones of the skull and a severe concussion.
