Football players Miranchuk, Glushenkov and Latyshonok joined the Russian national team for June
Head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin announced the team composition for the June training camp. This was reported on the website of the Russian Football Union (RFU).
The extended application included 33 players. Among them are the Miranchuk brothers, Lokomotiv Moscow striker Maxim Glushenkov and Baltika Kaliningrad goalkeeper Evgeniy Latyshonok. Karpin said the final lineup will be announced next week.
The Russian national football team will play a friendly match with Belarus. The meeting will take place in Minsk on June 7. This will be the first away match for the Russian team in 2024.
Russian football clubs and national teams do not take part in international tournaments by decision of the International Football Federation and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Belarusian teams continue to compete, but all home matches under the auspices of UEFA have been moved to neutral grounds.
