Zenit called information about management’s tough conversation with players rumors
Chairman of the Board of St. Petersburg Zenit Alexander Medvedev appreciated the information about the tough conversation between the management and the players after the defeat from CSKA in the match of the 28th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). His words are reported by RIA Novosti.
“Don’t feed on toxic, poisonous rumors,” Medvedev said.
It was reported that after the defeat (0:1) on May 11, the head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, went to the blue-white-blue locker room and promised to leave the players without bonuses for unsatisfactory results. According to journalist Ivan Karpov, Medvedev also had a conversation with the team – he called the players impotent.
