Without Romero and Hernández, Botafogo delegation arrives in Lima for the Libertadores game

This Monday, the Botafogo delegation arrived in Lima, Peru, for the duel against Universitario-PER. The ball rolls on Thursday, at 7pm (Brasília time), at the Monumental “U” Stadium, for the fifth round of the Libertadores group stage.

In the images released by the club, it is possible to see striker Júnior Santos and defender Alexander Barboza in the Peruvian capital.

However, for disciplinary reasons, Botafogo cut Romero and Hernández. Thus, both athletes did not even travel to compete in the match.

Therefore, Botafogo must be selected with: John; Damián Suárez, Lucas Halter, Bastos and Hugo; Danilo Barbosa, Marlon Freitas and Luiz Henrique; Savarino, Jefinho and Júnior Santos.

Currently, Botafogo occupies second place in Group D, with the same six points as leader Junior Barranquilla. Universitario is third, with five wins.
