This Monday, Aziz Yildirim, candidate for president of Fenerbahce, revealed that he has an agreement with José Mourinho. If he wins the elections, the Portuguese will take over as coach of the Turkish club.
“We have already reached an agreement with José Mourinho. If we are elected, he will come to Turkey”, he said during a press conference to present his candidacy.
Aziz Yildirim also stated that the team’s planning will follow the recommendations of the experienced coach.
“We will sign players according to José Mourinho’s requests. He watched our game against Konyaspor live.”
Mourinho has been free on the market since January this year, when he left Roma. For the Italian club, the coach led the team in 138 games, won 68, drew 30 and lost 40. In addition, he was champion of the Conference League and reached the final of the Europa League.
