Dinamo Bucharest suspected the footballer of replacing himself with a twin
The Dinamo Bucharest football club suspected defender Edgar Ie of replacing himself with his twin brother Edelina. This was reported by Fanatik.
According to the source, the football player refuses to show documents and does not speak English, although Dynamo were sure that Edgar speaks the language. The team has been trying to terminate the contract with the player for several weeks, but he does not agree.
It is noted that the Romanian club wants to do a DNA test to establish the identity of the football player. “Dynamo” could face technical defeats in five matches with Ie’s participation if it is confirmed that the wrong player entered the field.
Edgar Ie was in the Barcelona system and then played for clubs such as Lille, Nantes, Trabzonspor and Feyenoord. He also played for Portugal’s youth teams. His twin brother Edelino Ie spent most of his career in the lower leagues of Portugal and Poland.
