Kuznetsov compared the match between the Rangers and Carolina to a dog fight over a bowl
Russian forward of the Carolina Hurricanes Evgeny Kuznetsov spoke about the decisive matches of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoff series with the New York Rangers. His words are quoted by journalist Patrick Welter on social networks X.
Kuznetsov compared the upcoming game to a dog fight. “One bowl of food and two dogs competing with each other. The Rangers know it will be hell to come back here. We want to put pressure on them,” he said.
Carolina loses the series 1-3. The match, which could be decisive for the team, will take place on May 14 at 02:00 Moscow time.
31-year-old Kuznetsov moved to Carolina during the season from the Washington Capitals. In just eight games in the current playoffs, he scored three goals and made two assists.
