After the rest day on Monday, the 2024 Giro d’Italia resumes its course with the dispute of its tenth stage. Leaves Pompeiiat 1:15 p.m.and concludes in Cusano Mutriwhich is a port of 1st category, between 4:58 p.m. and 5:27 p.m.after completing a tour of 142 kilometers.

It is always, to a certain extent, unknown how the race will evolve after the rest day, and that is a detail to take into account when determining what to expect for this tenth stage of the 107th Giro d’Italia. The day features two passes: the aforementioned Cusano Mutri, which is where it ends, and, at kilometer 82.5, Camposauro, 2nd. This last ascent will require runners to make an effort of more than six kilometers, with an average slope of 7.8% and sections of 13%.

The final 17.9 kilometers that lead to the Bocca della Selva, which is the place where the finish line is located, will most likely decide the fate of the stage. With an average gradient of 5.6% and slopes of 10%, it will be interesting to see what the Giro participants offer, and, ultimately, what spectacle the race has in store.
