IOC: NOCs that accredited Russian coaches will bear responsibility at the Olympic Games
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced the responsibility of countries that will work with Russian coaches at the 2024 Games in Paris. TASS reports this.
The IOC said that National Olympic Committees accrediting representatives of teams with Russian or Belarusian passports to the 2024 Olympics bear full responsibility for their officials. It is noted that the IOC is not happy with planning a special test for Russians.
On April 30, it became known that the French authorities rejected applications for accreditation for the Olympic Games 2024 from more than 20 Russian volunteers. Later, the volunteers said that they planned to contact French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin.
The Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11. Russians and Belarusians, if a number of conditions are met, will be able to compete in the individual competitions of the tournament in a neutral status.
