SRZP will abstain from voting on the approval of Degtyarev as Minister of Sports
The party “A Just Russia – For Truth” (SRZP) will abstain from voting on the candidate for the post of Minister of Sports of the Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev. The head of the association, Sergei Mironov, told RIA Novosti about this.
Mironov said that Degtyarev has experience in leading the Duma relevant committee, but this is not enough for the new position.
On May 11, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin submitted a new composition of the Cabinet to the State Duma for consideration. The lower house will consider nominations on May 12.
In addition to Degtyarev, the deputies of the current head of the department Oleg Matytsin, Odes Baysultanov and Azat Kadyrov applied for the post of Minister of Sports of Russia. Before this, the acting head of the department was Oleg Matytsin.
