Boxer Lomachenko defeated Kambosos by knockout and won two championship titles
Ukrainian boxer Vasily Lomachenko defeated Australian George Kambosos in a fight that took place in Perth, Australia. Results available online X International Boxing Organization (IBO).
The fight ended with the Ukrainian winning by technical knockout in the 11th round. Lomachenko won the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) lightweight title, as well as Kambosos’ IBO belt.
In his last fight, which took place in May 2023, Lomachenko lost by unanimous decision to Devin Haney. Then the American defended his world champion titles according to the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Organization (WBO), International Boxing Federation (IBF), WBA Super and The Ring.
In his career, 35-year-old Lomachenko won 18 victories and suffered three defeats. 30-year-old Kambosos scored 21 victories in 24 fights.
