Kokorin will continue to play for the Cypriot Aris next season
Russian striker Alexander Kokorin will continue to play for Cypriot Aris next season. This was reported on the club’s Telegram channel.
The team reported that they had reached an agreement with the player to extend the contract until the summer of 2025. “Over the past two years, Coco has become the most important player on our team,” the statement said.
The rights to Kokorin belong to Fiorentina; the contract with the Italian club expires this summer. The Florence club has not yet announced their separation from the Russian player.
In January 2021, Kokorin moved to Fiorentina from Spartak Moscow. The striker spent the 2022/2023 season on loan at Cypriot Aris, becoming the winner of the national championship. On September 5, 2023, it became known that Aris again took Kokorin on an annual loan from the Italian club.
