At 63 kilometers from the finish line, Thomas, Valgren, Paleni and Pietrobon had a minute and a half lead, which was only half that, 45 seconds, with ten kilometers to go. They have known how to manage that income, and have been able to fight for a highly prestigious victory, which has made Thomas smile.
