The attacker of Paris Saint GermainKylian Mbappé, admitted, this Tuesday, his share of responsibility after the elimination against Borussia Dortmund in the semifinals of Champions Leaguein which once again the French team’s dream of winning the unprecedented title was postponed.
“Not everything is lost, there are still goals to achieve this season”, reacted Mbappé as he passed through the mixed zone of Parque dos Príncipes, where his team lost 1-0 to the Aurinegro team, who had already won by the same score in the first leg, in Germany.
PSG are mathematically champions of Ligue 1, but will still play in the French Cup final against Lyon on May 25th, in Lille.

“We are very disappointed because we wanted to qualify, but in the Champions League you have to be efficient in areas and in that they were better than us,” he said. “I tried to help as much as possible. I think I’m the first to be singled out when I say we had to be effective. I’m the one who has to score goals”, he insisted, assuming the status of the team’s star and top scorer.
Trying to be positive, Mbappé highlighted that PSG showed that they are “capable of going far” in the Champions League, having reached the semi-finals.
“There was no overconfidence. The group was calm. That’s football, we didn’t put in all the ingredients that needed to be put in place to reach the final,” he said, resigned.
