Brazilian Thiago Silva is leaving Chelsea, as announced by the player himself last week. The defender’s next destination should be with the team that revealed him, Fluminense. The Rio club sought out the athlete and now hopes to sign a contract with the defender within 15 days, according to the journalist. Fabrizio Romanono X.

Thiago Silva was a Fluminense player between 2006 and 2008. Wearing the Tricolor das Laranjeiras shirt, the defender played 147 matches, scored 14 goals and was champion of the 2007 Copa do Brasil. The Brazilian was present in the runner-up of the Libertadores for the LDU, at Maracanã, in 2008.
After Fluminense, Thiago Silva was sold to Milan and spent time at teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, where he is currently. In Europe, the Brazilian defender won a Champions League and seven French Championships.
In the Brazilian team, Thiago Silva played 113 games and scored seven goals. In addition to having participated in four World Cups: 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022.
