“Championship”: Artem Dzyuba refused to renew his contract with Lokomotiv
Forward Artem Dzyuba refused the option to auto-renew his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow. “Championship” reports this.

Earlier it became known about Lokomotiv’s intention to get rid of Dziuba after the end of the season. The head coach of the capital team, Mikhail Galaktionov, told the striker that he did not put him in the squad not because he did not want to see him there, but because he was out of shape.
In the 2023/2024 Russian Premier League season, Dzyuba scored four goals and made three assists in 21 matches. The contract with the 35-year-old player runs until the end of the current season. The footballer moved to Lokomotiv on February 8, 2023.
