The Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (Tean Emirates) became the new leader of the Giro of Italy after winning this Sunday alone in the second stage, disputed between San Francesco al Campo and the Sanctuary of Oropa.

It arrived much later the until now leader, the Ecuadorian Jhonatan Narváez (Ineos Grenadiers), who crossed the finish line 2:04 minutes behind Tadej Pogacar.
