Rojas shines, and Messi’s team beats New York Red Bulls in MLS

Inter Miami beat the New York Red Bulls 6-2, this Saturday, in the 11th round of the MLS, at home. Matías Rojas (2x), ex-Corinthians, Suárez (3x) and Lionel Messi scored the winning goals, while Tolkin and Vanzeir scored for the visitors.

In the first stage, at 29 minutes, Vanzeir opened the scoring. Two minutes into the second half, the Paraguayan received a pass from the Argentine star and scored a beautiful goal to leave everything even.

Shortly after, at four, Lionel Messi was called by Suárez and turned the score around. Later, at 16, Rojas squared with the Argentine and made a dig to widen the gap.

In the 23rd minute, Suárez went to the net and turned the victory into a rout. The Uruguayan, at 29 and 35, completed the hat-trick and gave final numbers to the match. In stoppage time, Tolkin, from a penalty, scored another goal for the visitors.

With 24 points, Inter Miami is at the top of the MLS. In the next round, Messi and company face Montreal at 8:30 pm (GMT) on the 11th, away from home.

The New York Red Bulls are in fourth place, with 17 points. Now, the team focuses on the duel against New England on the same date and time, as home team.
