Ex-coach of Paris NN Yuran on his dismissal from the club: I found myself hostage to the situation
Ex-coach of Paris Nizhny Novgorod Sergei Yuran explained his dismissal from the team. He is quoted by “Championship”.
According to the specialist, the club had a shortage of players. “I said that Paris NN needs four or five players, in addition to Konstantin Maradishvili and Konstantin Kuchaev. It was necessary to recruit two or three more players. But the budget did not allow this,” he noted.
Yuran recalled that Maradishvili, Kuchaev and Mamadou Maiga were injured during the matches. Thus, the club was left without key players. “In the end, I found myself hostage to the situation,” the coach concluded.
Yuran was fired from Paris NN after the defeat of Grozny’s Akhmat with a score of 1:5 in the match of the 26th round of the national championship. The defeat was the sixth in a row for the Nizhny Novgorod team. Yuran has held the post since April 2023.
