Borussia Dortmund won at home Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 this Wednesday (1st) in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals and gained an advantage for the second leg in Paris, next Tuesday.
Despite the Parisian team hitting the post twice, it was the German team, with a goal from Niclas Füllkrug, in the 36th minute, that emerged victorious from this first duel, at the Westfalenstadion.
“It was a deserved victory, a good performance from the team. We could have scored more goals, but they could have scored too. That’s why I think the result was good,” said Dortmund coach Edin Terzic.
Parque dos Príncipes was the stadium where PSG and Borussia Dortmund, who were in the same group in the first phase, began their campaigns in this edition, with the Parisian victory 2-0.
Next Tuesday this will be the place where one of the two will say goodbye to the competition and for now it is PSG who is on the ropes.
The winner of the duel will be guaranteed in the grand final on June 1st, at Wembley, against Bayern Munich or Real Madrid, who drew 2-2 on Tuesday in the first leg.
