Tarasova said that the 2024 Games will not be left without a medal for the Russian athlete
Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova assessed the Russians’ chances of winning medals at the 2024 Olympic Games. Her words are quoted by RB Sport.
“We have such a strong sport that no matter how hard we are pressed, we will still remain among the best,” Tarasova said. In her opinion, the 2024 Games will not be left without a medal for the Russian athlete.
Russians and Belarusians, by decision of the IOC, will be able to take part in the Olympics as individual neutral athletes. However, athletes who support a special operation in Ukraine, as well as those who have connections with the armed forces or security agencies of Russia and Belarus, will miss the tournament. In addition, there will be no representatives of team sports from the two countries in Paris.
The Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11.
