Dyukov called the position of the Ministry of Health the main obstacle to the sale of beer at football
President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Alexander Dyukov named the main obstacle preventing the return of beer sales at stadiums. His words are quoted by Sport24.
According to him, this is the position of the Ministry of Health. “How can they be convinced if they are sure that beer is harmful to health? The Ministry of Health believes in this. Should I prove them wrong? – said Dyukov.
At the same time, the head of the RFU emphasized that there is hardly anything useful in beer. “There are, of course, different points of view. But it seems to me that it will be very difficult to convince the Ministry of Health, because they believe that beer is not very good,” added Dyukov.
A ban on the sale of beer at sports venues has been in effect in Russia since 2005. During the 2018 FIFA World Cup, beer returned to Russian stadiums as an exception.
