O Peru will face El Salvador in a friendly on June 14, in Philadelphia, before their debut in 2024 Copa Americawhich will be held in the United States, announced this Wednesday the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF).
“Peru will play a friendly against the El Salvador team on Friday, June 14, at the Subaru Park stadium in Philadelphia,” the FPF said in a statement.
“In coordination with the technical command of Professor Jorge Fossati, we managed to carry out this preparation game against a Central American team”, highlighted the president of the FPF, Agustín Lozano.

The ‘blanquirroja’ team will also play a friendly against Paraguay scheduled for June 7th, in Lima.
Peru is in Group A of the Copa América along with the current world and continental champions, Argentina, as well as Chile and Canada. The Peruvian team defeated Nicaragua 2-1 and the Dominican Republic 4-1 in friendlies in Lima in March.
