Liverpool loses to Everton and is three points behind leaders Arsenal in English

O Liverpool was defeated 2-0 by Everton in Klopp’s last classic, this Wednesday, in the 29th round of the English Championship, at Goodison Park. With the result, the visitors remain three points behind the leader, Arsenal.

In second place, the team has 74 points, against 77 for the first placed teams and four more than City, which has two fewer rounds. The home team is in 16th place, with 33.

In the 26th minute of the first half, Everton opened the scoring: Konaté made a poor clearance and the ball fell to Branthwaite, who shot from the left. The shot hit Alisson and softly crossed the goal line. In the second stage, at 12′, Calvert-Lewin gave final numbers to the classic.
