With the result, PSG can celebrate the French title in this round. All that is needed is for vice-leader Monaco not to beat Lille, in a match that takes place this Wednesday. The Paris team has 69 points compared to 55 for its rival, who has a game in hand.
In this Wednesday’s rout, PSG relied on the strength of its attackers to reach four goals. There were two goals from star Mbappé and another two from Dembélé. Bamba scored for Loriente.
The French title would be extra motivation for PSG in the Champions League dispute. Starting next Wednesday, the team will take the field in the semi-final of the continental competition against Borussia Dortmund, from Germany.
Before playing in the Champions League, PSG will, however, play once again in the French Championship, on Saturday, against Le Havre.
