Sporting beat Vitória 3-0 this Sunday in the 30th round of the Portuguese Championship. The match was held at the Alvalade Stadium, in Lisbon.
With the triumph, Sporting occupies the lead, with 80 points won, and is increasingly closer to the competition title. With four rounds remaining in the national league, Benfica, which occupies second place, is ten points away from first place, but with one game in hand. While Vitória remains in fifth place, with 57.
Sporting faces Porto next Sunday, at 4:30 pm (Brasília time), at Estádio do Dragão, in the 31st round of the Portuguese Championship. Vitória hosts Boavista on Saturday, at the same time.

The goals
Sporting opened the scoring in the 29th minute of the first half. After being divided in the area, the ball fell to midfielder Pedro Gonçalves, who finished strongly in the left corner.
In stoppage time of the initial stage, in the 47th minute, Sporting increased their advantage. After a great exchange of passes, Pedro Gonçalves passed it to Viktor Gyokeres, who shot past the goalkeeper to find the net.
At the beginning of the second half, in the 49th minute, Sporting scored the third and secured the victory. Francisco Trincão received a great throw and found Viktor Gyokeres, who only had the job of pushing the ball into the goal.
