Bellingham decides in the end, Real Madrid beats Barcelona and gets closer to the Spanish title

Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-2 this Sunday, at the Santiago Bernabéu, in the 32nd round of the Spanish Championship. English midfielder Jude Bellingham scored in second-half stoppage time and decided the match.

With the result, the Merengue club, leader of the competition, with 81 points, increases the advantage over the Catalan team, second placed, with 70, and gets closer to the LaLiga title.

Real Madrid returns to the field next Friday, at 4pm (Brasília time), when they face Real Sociedad, at the Anoeta Stadium, in the 33rd round of the Spanish Championship. While Barcelona host Valencia on April 29th, at the same time.

The game

Barcelona started the match pressing and opened the scoring five minutes into the first half. Brazilian Raphinha took a corner from the right at the second post and Andreas Christensen rose to head it and score the first goal of the game.

In the 15th minute of the opening half, Real Madrid equalized. Lucas Vázquez advanced from the right, dribbled past defender João Cancelo and was brought down by Frenkie de Jong in the area. The referee awarded a penalty and Vinícius Júnior converted.

Barcelona almost scored their second goal in the 27th minute of the first half. Raphinha took another corner from the right, Lamine Yamal deflected it and goalkeeper Andriy Lunin saved the ball on the line.

The Catalan club took the lead again in the 23rd minute of the final stage. After Lamine Yamal’s cross, Fermín López took advantage of Lunin’s rebound and scored Barcelona’s second goal.

It didn’t take long and Real Madrid tied the game, 27 minutes into the second half. Vinicius Junior advanced from the left and crossed low to Lucas Vázquez, who finished to find the net.

At the end of the game, in the 46th minute of the second half, Real Madrid turned it around, with a goal from Bellingham. After a good play by Brahim Díaz, Lucas Vázquez crossed low from the right and the English midfielder appeared to shoot the ball into the back of the goal.
