The 30th round of French Championship has come to an end. In the last appointment this Sunday, the PSG beat Lyon, 4-1, at Parque dos Príncipes. Matic (own goal), Lucas Beraldo, formerly of São Paulo, and Gonçalo Ramos (2x) scored the goals for the home team, while Nuamah reduced the score for the visitors. Mbappé stayed on the bench and did not need to be called.
With the result, coach Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain reached 66 points in the competition and remained calm at the top of the competition, with an 11-point advantage over Monaco. On the other hand, Lyon had 40 points and remained in ninth place.
Now, PSG returns to the pitch this Wednesday. In a delayed game of the 29th round, the team coached by Luis Enrique visits Lorient this Wednesday. The match takes place at 2pm (Brasília time), at Stade du Moustoir – Yves Allainmat.
On the other hand, Lyon will only return to the field next weekend. On Sunday (28), the team faces Monaco, also at 2 pm, at Groupama Stadium, in the 31st round of Ligue 1.
The game
It was right after the first arrival that PSG opened the scoring. Barcola made a good move on the left side and passed it to Asensio inside the penalty area. The Spaniard went deep and played low behind. Goalkeeper Lopes came out to cut the cross, but before him, Matic deflected it into the goal: 1-0.
It was a corner kick that PSG extended. Asensio took a shot into the area, Barcola deflected it at the near post. Beraldo, alone in the middle of the small area, only found the back of the net to make it 2-0.
But Lyon did not give up and responded with danger. Benrahma arrived on the left side, entered the area and shot. The ball deflected off Marquinhos, but goalkeeper Donnarumma made a great save to prevent what would have been the visiting team’s first goal.
In the 31st minute, PSG scored the third goal. Hakimi appeared on the right side and made a great cross. Gonçalo Ramos came from behind and, like a surprise element, headed the ball into the Lyon goal.

Even with the large advantage against, Lyon continued to look for their first goal – and they got it. Nuamah took advantage of the entrance to the penalty area, blocking Donnarumma’s vision, took a risk and scored. A minute later, the striker almost scored the second in a very similar move.
At the end of the first half, Paris started the rout. Asensio received it on the left and entered the penalty area. The Spaniard gave a beautiful pass to Gonçalo Ramos, who threw himself onto the ball and pushed it into the back of the goal.
In the second half, Donnarumma stopped Lyon once again. Nuamah played backwards and Cherki, inside the penalty area, arrived with a first-time hit. The PSG goalkeeper, in turn, sent it to a corner. Lyon even tried to create new chances and Paris tried to counterattack, but the duel ended 4-1 for the home team.
