Baltika footballer Alex Fernandez said he was apprehensive about moving to Russia
Brazilian striker of Baltika Kaliningrad Alex Fernandez spoke about his fears about moving to Russia. His words are quoted by “Championship”.
“A new language, a new climate, but now we’ve got used to it and feel good. We can go to the grocery store, have a better understanding of food and different places in the city,” said the foreign football player. He added that few people in Kaliningrad speak English.
Fernandez moved to Baltika from the Bulgarian Cherno More in February 2024. The transfer amount was 850 thousand euros. The player’s contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
