The 2024 champion will only be defined on June 1st, the day of the final, at Wembley, but the four semi-finalists (Bayern Munich, PSG, Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid) have already been confirmed by the ranking. Before being eliminated, Arsenal were the only unqualified club that could snatch the Champions League title.
Therefore, whoever wins the European tournament, it is certain that the club in question will occupy the champion spot and will give up its place in the rankings to Red Bull Salzburg, the next best placed club. Therefore, the 12 vacancies have already been filled, and the list of classified clubs will not change.
The 2025 World Cup will take place in the United States between June and July 2025. The competition will feature 32 teams representing all six confederations.
