The Slovenian cyclist joined the team in 2016 and among his victories he has three laps of Spain, as well as stages in the Tour de France and Giro d’Italia.
Slovenian Primoz Roglic, triple winner of the Tour of Spain and Olympic time trial champion, will follow attached to the Jumbo-Visma until 2025, for which he will complete a decade in Dutch training.
“I have grown with this team since my arrival in 2016. Already we have a long history together of which I am very proud. I made my debut in the WorldTour peloton at a somewhat older age. Roglic (Trbovlje, 32 years old), has achieved more than 50 victories with the Jumbo Visma jersey since 2016, including 3 Laps with 9 stages, 2 Itzulias Tour of the Basque Country, Liege Bastoña, 3 stages in the Tour de France and 3 in the Giro.
“My goals are independent of the results. Especially I want to continue developing in different areas. Physically and mentally, but also as a team leader and as a person. I’m in the right place for that. We will see what it will focus on in the coming years ”, he assures.
The Jumbo sporting director Visma, Merijn Zeeman considers it something special that Roglic remains attached to the Jumbo-Visma for so long.
