With a goal scored, Brazilian defender André Ramalho was one of the highlights of PSV’s 6-0 rout against Vitesse, this Saturday, in the 30th round of the Dutch Championship. The defender, named star of the match, commented on the goal.
“I’m very happy for the goal, for being chosen as the best player of the match and even more for the rout that brings PSV closer to the title. This big score we achieved reflects our excellent campaign”, said the defender.
PSV leads the Dutch with 81 points, nine more than vice-leader Feyenoord, and could now be champions in the next round. To do this, simply beat Heerenveen, on April 25th, and the second-placed team stumbles against Go Ahead Eagles. However, André values calm.

“The whole group is to be congratulated, but we know that the victory is not yet guaranteed. We need to remain focused and working to lift the cup soon, perhaps in the next round”, he commented.
André Ramalho is in his third season at PSV and has, in total, 124 matches, 105 of which as a starter. The defender has six goals and two assists with the club’s shirt, in addition to having won two Dutch Cups (2022 and 2023) and three National Super Cups (2021, 2022 and 2023).
