Olympic hockey champion Kozhevnikov insulted French President Macron
Two-time Olympic champion in hockey Alexander Kozhevnikov insulted French President Emmanuel Macron after his statement about the difference in the conditions for the participation of Israel and Russia in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Kozhevnikov called the politician a bastard and a homosexual. “There’s nothing more to say!” – he added.
Earlier on April 15, Macron spoke about the difference in the conditions for the participation of Israel and Russia in the 2024 Olympic Games. He stated that Israel, unlike Russia, is not an attacking party.
In December 2023, Russians and Belarusians were allowed to participate in the Games in Paris as individual neutral athletes. However, athletes who support the SVO, or those with connections to the armed forces or security agencies, will not be allowed to participate in the competition. In addition, representatives of team sports will miss the tournament.
