Chervichenko called a high salary a condition for Karpin’s arrival at Spartak
Former owner of Spartak Andrei Chervichenko named the conditions under which the head coach of the Russian national team and Rostov, Valery Karpin, can take this position in the Moscow team. His words are quoted by Match TV.
According to the businessman, the management of the red and white should offer the specialist a very high salary. “At the same time, pour it in such a way that even the management of Rostov would say to him: “What are you doing, how can you refuse?” said Chervichenko.
He added that Karpin is unlikely to agree to work at Spartak without his team. “And Spartak sports director Tomas Amaral has his own program. Moreover, Karpin is a very characterful guy, he can eat anyone,” the businessman noted.
Earlier on April 14, Spartak announced the resignation of Guillermo Abascal from the post of head coach. Vladimir Slishkovich will perform his duties.
