Jon Rahm will end his reign at the Augusta Masters this Sunday April 14 at being out of combat in the defense of the title of the first major of the seasonwhich leads the world number one, Scottie Scheffler.
Rahm needed a real ‘moving day’ on the penultimate day, but failed to get out of par at Augusta National to stay in a total of +5. Thus, the Basque saw even the American Scheffler’s lead move away to 12 strokes.
Rahm, what will look for at least a ‘Top 10’ on the last day, will give the green jacket to his successor and Scheffler leads the table and the pools.
On the other hand, the veteran José María Olazabal is in 47th place, 16 goals behind the leader.
