Tsarukyan defeated Oliveira at the UFC tournament and received the right to fight with Makhachev
Russian and Armenian mixed style fighter (MMA) Arman Tsarukyan defeated Brazilian Charles Oliveira in a fight at the UFC 300 tournament in Paradise (USA). The results are available on the organization’s website.
The athlete defeated his opponent by split decision. Earlier, UFC head Dana White said that the winner of this confrontation should meet the lightweight title holder, Russian Islam Makhachev.
Last December, Tsarukyan explained that he competes under the flag of Armenia, despite the fact that he has spent his entire life in Russia, since he considers himself an Armenian. He added that in the conversation he calls himself a Russian fighter representing Armenia.
Tsarukyan has been competing in the UFC since April 2019. In total, he now has 22 wins with three defeats. Oliveira has 34 victories and ten defeats in fights according to MMA rules.
