The management of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has officially announced a fight between American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Michael Chandler and Irishman Conor McGregor. This is reported online X organizations.
The fight between the athletes will take place on the night of June 29-30 at the UFC 303 tournament. It will be held in Las Vegas (Nevada) as part of International Fight Week.
On January 1, Chandler spoke about the upcoming fight with McGregor. He stated that he always wanted to fight the Irishman at his best.
McGregor had his last fight in the summer of 2021, losing to American Dustin Poirier by technical knockout. The Irishman suffered a broken leg, from which he is still recovering.
37-year-old Michael Chandler last entered the Octagon in November 2022 and also lost to Poirier. Chandler lost by submission in the third round. In total, Michael has 31 MMA fights, in which he won 23 victories and suffered eight defeats.
