Coach Chernyshov: I have not encountered a negative attitude towards Russians in India
Football coach Andrei Chernyshov spoke about the attitude towards Russians in India. His words are quoted by “Sport Day by Day”.
Chernyshov shared that he has never encountered a negative attitude towards Russians in India, and added that everyone treats them with enthusiasm and respect. “When in a cafe, restaurant or taxi they ask where I’m from and I say that I’m from Russia, I most often hear: “Oh, Russia! Friend! Friend!”, noted the coach.
Chernyshov also said that the attitude in India and Serbia cannot be compared. “It’s just probably how they love and value Russians there. This cannot be compared with anyone. Everywhere: “Russian. Brother. Putin. Come on!” This is a separate story,” he emphasized.
Earlier, Russian handball player Daniil Shishkarev spoke about the attitude towards Russians in Macedonia. “The adult generation of Macedonians spoke and speak with trepidation about Russia as a great power. But young people are more oriented towards the West,” he said.
